To build a resume and become familiar with what is out there for you it might be advantageous to join Peace Corp or look into missionary work through churches or inquire of the Red Cross and United Way. I believe that college education is always a plus especially in construction fields and the health field or dentistry. There are probably more fields I haven't thought of. Look on the internet for the type of work you are wanting and for volunteer positions.
