I'm pretty sure I'm gay, but some people think otherwise?

My bet is, you act in a manner that is not stereotypical. The last people to catch on to the fact that I am gay are usually the other gays! This is because I do not broadcast or "flame". So, by the sounds of your statements, it seems to me that you are gay; but, to be sure, if I were in the situation to do so, I'd ask you what your responses are to other ual subjects. All the same, we know what we are on the inside; it takes some longer than others to figure it out and accept it, but we know; and what other people think we are or are not, when it comes to ual orientation, means nothing.
