So answer the riddle!!!!!?

A teacher has a cl in which there is no homework, and doesn't grade cl work. At the end of the year, the students have a final test which will determine whether they p or fail the cl.. The test are distributed, and there is one lone question. The question is: what takes courage? The students are supposed to answer with less than 2 sentences.. Evey one fails but one student. What did that student write? Hint: less than 10 letters :)
