Imagine how the world would be whining today if Truman had used his backup plan to end WW2?

Saw on the History channel last night, show about the invasion of Japan. Truman said after the 2nd nuke drop that if the Japanese didn't surrender he was prepared to drop a nuke a day until they were all wipedout or surrendered. The builders of the nukes had already been told to start production of as many as possible when the Emperor gave up.
