Ways to expand a school project?

I am doing a science project for school. I am not entering the project in a science fair so it does not have to be in science fair format. Actually, my friend and I were igned to put on a project for our teacher. She wants to show the students how to present a project. Our ignment: to build a solar panel and try to make it work by attacthing it to electrically used items. I need a way to expnad our project. We had an idea hat during the presentation we could p out information handouts on solar energy and perhaps follow that with a test. This is alll we have. Is there a way to get the audience more entertained or involved. What more can I do? Any answers are appreciated. Please bare in mind that we are freshmen and the project can last no more than 20 minutes.
