How do I build a motor that can rotate a 10 pound object clockwise?

I want to build a table and have a motor underneath it that can rotate that table clockwise. Speed is not an issue, I just need to be able to build a motor strong enough to move the table. The stronger the motor the better though. Are there any online resources that I could use? Where do I go from here with this idea? Who do I talk to?
